  • I had an awesome stay here while attending a 5 day business conference at the convention center (1.4 miles away). My room was awesome (Could You Room) with huge Double Shower off an indoor terrace. The whole place is beautifully decorated. The staff is very attentive, warm, friendly and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. They even went out and bought a late night meal for some of us who were at the conference which ran to midnight the first day. I enjoyed conversing with other guests in the public spaces, and enjoyed getting to know the staff including Tatiana who made sure everyone got home each night. There is a killer then where you can even cook your own meals and fridge the nature beer. Breakfast is continental in style and soon they will make fresh pancakes and eggs! Overall a fantastic place to wind down after a long day. Very home like, Unique and not like your typical boring hotel.

Rooms and bathrooms are all clean and freshly updated! There are even huge room showers to wash off the sand after a day at the beach.

I was in WPB for 8 nights and absolutely loved The Upper Level. The whole place is always kept remarkably clean and tidy. I felt like i was in my own home with my own private staff! Don’t let the whole bathroom thing turn you off…over 8 days/nights there was never a wait and my privacy was never compromised. Every time a bathroom gets used, even if its just to brush your teeth, one of the girls comes in behind you and cleans so its always like new for the next user.
Liz, Tatiana, Kat, Mireya & Ana all went above and beyond to assure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.
Without question this hotel alternative beats any brand name option in town. I will stay here exclusively on future visits.

  • A little difficult to find and the outside is deceiving, but called and this sweet lady Tatiana (sp?) answered and she was AMAZING and reassuring. She greeted us so kindly and was very helpful in getting situated. The room was beautiful with a king size bed with white, soft clean bedding, lovely shiny hardwood floors and decorated with art deco style and flare, however, that trip outside the room to the rest room was a lil uncomfortable for me. After one gets over that, the peaceful and private stay was great! Oh yea, downtown spot and close to everything! Thanks Upper Level for a elegant and unique experience,,,

This is a great place to stay, very warm and friendly staff, lovely ambiance, very clean, free internet and breakfast included. The open lounge is a great concept and gives you so much more than just a hotel room. Thank you to the Upper Level Team,

  • As we drove up the street to find this hotel we were sure we had made a wrong turn. The neighbourhood looked a bit shady and we could not see the hotel. We parked our car and got out to have a look, and placed between a hair salon and a theatre workshop place there was a door bell you could ring to talk the reception – we had found the place. Got taken upstairs and it was like coming into a new world (compared to the one outside). Beautiful and chic common room with great colours and arts, and lots of doors that led to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The staff was excellent and our room was so nice with a very comfy bed. Shared bathrooms, but we did not mind this. The location is not great if you don’t have a car, a bit of a walk into town. We didn’t want to take the car to the beach, but the manager was nice and got us a free ride into town with a small, open car that drive people around for tips. It was the first time she called this service, but if they could get it to work I recommend using it (if the weather is nice). Wifi was free and fast. They had a small, continental breakfast that maybe could have been a bit better to match the genre of the hotel, but overall good. Would recommend staying here if you don’t mind the location and sharing bathrooms with strangers. Excellent service and beautiful rooms/facilities.

We found this on line and absolutely loved it! Very chic and comfortable with a kitchen to place your personal food. While bathrooms are not in all rooms, they are just around the corner and are super clean. There’s a veranda to enjoy your onsite coffee and whatever breakfast you bring for yourself. A terrific location and wonderful staff!

  • First of all a compliment to the interior decorator this place beautiful.
The staff is very friendly and fun to talk to.
The price I payed is well worth it even if you don’t have your own bathroom.
Definitely the highlight for me is the “OUTDOOR SHOWER” went running and really enjoyed it afterwards.
The room towards road is a little noisy though.

I stayed here with my girlfriend. We were a little hesitant when we arrived. It’s kind of a combination B&B, and apt rental spot. The entrance is on N Dixie Hwy, pretty busy. But once inside we realized we had discovered a gem. Felt like we were in Soho, or San Francisco. Original art work on all the walls. Very deco feel throughout and the rooms were very nice and clean. Simple continental breakfast and coffee. The managers (we met two) were both very nice and helpful I asked for an iron to freshen a shirt and she offered to do it for me. Sweet. The shared bathroom was not to our preference, but we did have a shower in our room. Convenient to Palm Beach and downtown West Palm restaurants too. Off street parking. I was not going to review this place because I didn’t want people to know about it. If you like something unique, unusual, but clean, affordable and fun, check it out.

  • The Upper Level is truly a more personalized experience, we had a great stay. It’s a great location for an intimate party with a few very close friends.

Came for an overnight business trip and wanted to stay near the ocean so I could get in a morning run along the beach. Stumbled onto this place and absolutely loved it.
